Sewn Hand Warmers

Materials:

  • Plastic tablecloth
  • Paper towels
  • 100% cotton high ankle socks – white

Instructions:

  1. Prewash socks.
     
  2. Lay plastic tablecloth down on flat surface.
     
  3. Lay socks flat on surface.
     
  4. Optional: rubber band areas on top section of socks to get a tie-dyed look.
     
  5. Generously apply dye onto socks. Fully saturate for intense color.
     
  6. Cover with plastic tablecloth. Let set 6-8 hours.
     
  7. Wash and dry.
     
  8. Cut off bottom (foot) section of socks.
     
  9. Using top section of sock, measure with hand to determine location of slit for thumb.
     
  10. Use scissors to cut a small slit.
     
  11. Embellish to your heart’s content using listed Tulip® Fashion Art™ products including crystals, appliqués, paints and more!
