Hearts and Flowers Tissue Box Cover

Decorate your boring tissue box with a hearts and flowers tissue box cover! This plastic canvas pattern uses bright colors to cheer up any room in the house, and it's a sure cure for the sniffles.

Materials:

• Boutique Tissue Box
• 1 ½ sheets of 7-mesh plastic canvas
• 1 skein Jockey Red Red Heart 4-ply yarn
• 1 skein Petal Pink Red Heart 4-ply yarn
• 1 skein White Red Heart 4-ply yarn
• Small amount each of 16 various 4-ply yarn colors (or as many different combinations as you choose) for the flowers
• Tapestry Needle

Instructions:

1. Cut four 32 x 38 holes for sides
    
2. Cut one 32 x 32 holes for top
    
3. Sew as shown on graph using Tied Windmill Stitch for pink motifs and Cross Stitch- Double for the flowers (see attached graphs for stitch instructions)
    
4. Fill in unshaded areas with white yarn
    
5. For top overcast tissue opening with green yarn
    
6. Make pink french knots in corners as shown
    
7. Whipstitch sides together with white yarn
    
8. Whipstitch top to sides with red yarn
    
9. Edge bottom in red yarn
