Cable Knit Scarf Pattern

Chunky Cable Knit Scarf

The design for this cable knit scarf pattern from Bernat Yarns is timeless and a unique alternative to the traditional braided cable. Stay warm with this thick and long scarf with fringe this winter. The more difficult cable pattern is intended for intermediate knitters. Knitters looking for a challenge that will add some comfy yet chic accents to their fall and winter wear will love this pattern.

Knitted up with a textured stitch and finished with fringe, this scarf pattern is as warm as it is wonderful. The original scarf is knitted in a snow white alpaca yarn, but you could easily customize it to fit your winter coat in other hues of the same yarn weight.

Is there a crocheted version

I love that scarf!

To the question about sizing--If and when I want something bigger-I Make my crocheted items bigger by increasing by one-half and this makes all the patterns bigger-measure the starting chain and if it fits-follow all the instructions but instead of stopping where they say-keep going till you come to the end of your piece--works for me for everything-and if you want something really bigger you can always double the pattern--I hope you are following what I am saying--I have been crocheting since I was 10 years old--now I am 57--and really having a great time since I am retired--good --

I love it, but one size only??

Brilliant pattern finally found some stunning scarfs to knit.
