I love this blanket!!! I'm going to try and make it with red heart soft yarn as other reviewers suggested. Can I use an n hook? and since I'm using different yarn can someone tell me how many more chains I should make to help it come out right? THANKS

I've made this blanket many times using the Boucle yarn. Where I had the hardest time was the single crochet in the chains. After that, it was easy. Will make more of this pattern.

I started to make this pattern, new to crochet, and was wondering what the sp means? I thought it meant space, but not sure that makes sense.

I don't like to work with Boucle either. I guess we are growing in numbers.

Try a different yarn such as Red Heart medium #4 yarn. It is easier to work with. The only thing is you may need to add a few stitches to get the same size because the yarn is less bulky. It may also take a little more yarn. I do this often because I also do not enjoy working with Boucle yarn.

I don't like crocheting with Boucle" yarn even with the big K hook. I have a hard time seeing the stitches... It's like blind crocheting..for me anyway.
