This ponchini is not only a different kind of outfit, but it makes a great fashion statement. You can wear it two different ways and it's an easy crochet pattern perfect for anyone to make, from Caron International Yarns.

Chain (ch)
Single crochet (sc)

Ponchini may be worn two ways; either with the buttons in the Front and Back, or with a button at each shoulder.

Place a marker between 2 center sc; count 25 to marker, then 25 from marker to end.

BACK and FRONT (both alike)

Join Back to Front:
* Overlap the upper corner of one edge of the Back diagonally over the corresponding upper edge of the Front. Using sewing needle and thread, sew button 1/2" from the corner edge, (see diagram below).
Measure 2 1/2" from the button toward the neck; using tn, tack the Front to the Back.
Repeat from * for opposite side.
Weave in ends.

My comment isn't really about this pattern specifically, it's a summary about all the patterns available on today's email. In a word...AWESOME!!! Such a great collection of pattern links on one page, the best one I have received by far! Usually on the daily email page, there are a few patterns I am not at all interested in, or just don't like. Today, I LOVED EVERY ONE!!! I can't wait to make them all!!!
