Holiday Scarves Trio

Create one of these striped holiday scarves for yourself or the whole set for your family. These easy to crochet scarves are festive for the holiday season, but understated enough to wear all year long.  Great for beginners and advanced crochet fans alike, these scarves are quick to make and make wonderful gift ideas for both men and women alike.  Create this Holiday Scarves Trio to keep you and your family nice and warm throughout the holiday season.

Holiday Scarves Trio

Materials:

  • 1 skein Red Heart® “SuperSaver™” yarn in Cherry Red (A)
  • 1 skein Red Heart® “SuperSaver™” yarn in Soft White (B)
  • 1 skein Red Heart® “SuperSaver™” yarn in Hunter Green (C)
  • 6.5 mm [US K-101/2] crochet hook
  • Yarn needle

 

Gauge: 10 hdc = 4”; 8 rows = 4”.

 

Instructions:
Finished Size: 6” wide x 58” long

Colorway #1
With A, ch 16.

  1. Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook (counts as first hdc), hdc in each ch across – 15 hdc.
     
  2. Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as hdc here and throughout), turn, skip first hdc, hdc in each st across – 15 hdc.
     
  3. Cut A and change to B and repeat Row 2 for 2 rows.
     
  4. Working as established, repeat 2 rows with A, 2 rows with B until piece measures 58” from beginning, end with 2 rows of A.
     
  5. Fasten off.

Colorway #2

  1. Work as for Colorway #1, beginning and ending with C, repeat 2 rows C and 2 rows B.

Colorway #3

  1. Work as for Colorway #1, beginning and ending with C, repeat 2 rows with C, 2 rows with B, 2 rows with A, 2 rows with B.

@dollysgang 3684321, Go to the page and highlight the text, then right-click on it. You'll get a window that gives you the option to "copy." Do that, and then paste the text into a word document. You should be able print that document that way. --Editors of FaveCrafts
