I wish I could see a pic of a little girl actually wearing this so I can see the waistline and the drawstring. I do love the colors and the pattern is appropriately named. The shell stitch is easy to do, so much that I think an advanced beginner could handle this getting better as she goes along. It is only double crochets mixed with chains. Easy!

I think my granddaughter is going to love this skirt. She is very much a girly girl and loves to wear skirts and dresses. Her favorite colors right now are purple and pink. I think it will look adorable in purple with pink trim or pink with purple trim. Maybe if I feel ambitious I will make her both.

I do not understand the quantities of yarn used in this pattern could you please clarify how much yarn is needed? Thank you Akakilou
