hello please answer me

Gonna make this for my Grandson's birthday, he will be two. His party is all pirates, and I'm making him sea toys to decorate with and then he can play with them later! :D

I just finish this crabbie... so cute.. thankyou for the pattern http://crochetnknitting.blogspot.com/2012/03/my-crochet-crabbie.html

I have crocheted this crabby twice and it is really funny and lovely!! Great pattern! :D

This pattern is pretty simple I am having problems making the claws are there any others having problems

i have made this & my nephew calls it mr. crabs off of spongbob.

I would definitely make this. The only thing that might hinder me is the time involved in this type of project and putting it together.

I think it is so cute. He is the uncrabby crab. adorable. I will make one for one of the kids in my family after Christmas.

Actually the glory of such projects is that they are fairly simple usually, but they look very intricate! It's basic stitches, and with it forming so well, it just looks amazing when you are done. I do fruits and veggies all the time, flowers, and all sorts of things in this style... the sewing together is my worst part, but they tend to go together really well. Maybe try some of the other animals first in this style, and then do this with more hand-sewn parts later? Don't give up is the main idea! If you can do the two main stitches of chain an single crochet, you should be able to do this easily!

I would be more likely to make it if it were a knitted pattern; I can crochet, but that looks a little too complicated for me!!! However it is a darling pattern & I think it would be a fine gift for a child.

He IS cute. My child care center could make use of this, or it would be a cute cheer up for someone who's had a rough week...maybe an "It's okay, I forgive you and I'm here for you" gift.

I love this pattern. He is just adorable. He will be saved to make in the future.

We're happy to hear so many of you enjoy this pattern! We think it's adorable too :) --editors of FaveCrafts

Crabby is quite adorable, my granddaughter will love him!!

I think this crab is just precious. I will make him

I think it's really cute, and I probably will be making it for my cousin's baby. Although I like the suggestion below too, making it to remind people not to be crabby!

I love this little crab. I would like to crochet this myself. I think and child would love it.

I would like to crochet this for myself, daughter and a friend to always remind us not to be crabby!

It looks easy enough. I would make it if my grandbaby was bigger. I personally don't like having to sew "Parts" together. I recently found parts of bears in a sack of yarns. I'm that way on clothing patterns too.

I would probably only crochet the Crabby the Crab pattern if it was for some very special boy or girl in my life as there are many small pieces that go into constructing the entire project. However, I really like the pattern and admire those crocheters who have the patience for this type of needlework.

I think this little crab is adorable! Yes I would make it and give it to a child. I think they would love it.

Love this crab!!! However, people from Maryland would crochet it in blue yarn (when it's alive) and red (after being steamed and covered in Old Bay Crab seasoning)!!!!

Thanks for the time for everyone comments and for very good suggestion about magic ring and adjustable ring as ShannonLee said. For correction of LG comment about the size of the rings. I would say that all the "ring" I mean in every beginning parts, I mean you should start with adjustable ring. Hope it is clarify enough. Also the size of crabby is "Finish size 1.5 tall 4 width".

The 'magic ring' does not have a size. Check out this link httpwww.crochetme.comforumst28917.aspx I would assume you fasten off after finishing each piece and, yes, leave a length of yarn to sew it onto the body. Good luck!

I think they mean to make a round by wrapping the yarn round your fingers and working into that......that way you can close the round by pulling on the thread and you have a neat start to the body........I will be making this for my son who is star sign cancer.....he will love it

this is a bit confusing----- first you say make a rind, but not how large? ( 2. ) you dont say fasten off, leave a length of yrn??? after body???? then you say once, again 6 sc in ring, but not how large of a ring??? (3) dont tel to fast off eyes? (4) and each time you say so many sc in a ring, but not how large of a ring? and you dont say the size of the darling crabby..... lilliangilliland@yahoo.com
