The Hushabye Shell Afghan is a beautiful blanket that would be a great shower gift. The pattern is an easy shell stitch and the colts are great for a boy or girl. I am sure that it will keep baby nice and warm. It is made with a nice four ply yarn and should work up fast. This one to save for a later date.

This is one of the easy crochet baby blankets I've encountered and the color combination is simple, just the usual pin/blue/yellow/white combination. Thanks for the pattern which is just right on the same page.
