Neat idea! I have tons of old 7 watt old school Christmas light bulbs that are dead, but I hate tossing them, and this project could easily be adapted to use these. I could use them together for a multi colored look, or do red green combo, or the clear and add in ribbon to match! Love this idea and it even could be enhanced further with a string of mini lights glowing thru and around the bulbs! So fun!

I would never have thought that you could use a set of lights like this! Your post has given me a ton of ideas for wreaths I would like to make with old light sets. I could have saved all those ones I threw away years ago because I gave up on them and upgraded.

Well, no, I have not actually made this upcycled wreath YET. I notice the project was just released today. I have always wanted to buy a hot glue gun and create something fun and unique. Her presentation video makes it look so darn easy, anybody could do it. I happen to LOVE the vintage bulbs she used. Can you imagine if you used gold or silver ribbon to wrap her foam? That would really make those clear bulbs pop! I love this!
