This is just beautiful and very unique. I love macrame but have never thought of dying any of my projects. What an inspired idea. I would like to use an off white cord and dip it in a color that compliments the room and then hang it against the white wall. Teal is my color choice.

You gotta go for the dip-dye! It is so fabulous! Being a crocheter myself, I find a craft project like this to be somewhat familiar to me, but enough of a different craft than I am used to in that it really provides something different and interesting to keep my craft repertoire fresh! I think a macrame wall hanging would make a great gift for a girlfriend.
