Great for little girls of all ages, this Crocheted Heart Headband makes the perfect Valentine's Day gift.  The lacy white band rests comfortably on the head and the cute little crocheted heart embellishment makes this the perfect February accessory.  You could even add a flower instead of a heart to make it more of a spring wearable.  Great for customizing to suit your own needs, this simple crochet headband pattern is the perfect way to spend an afternoon indoors.

The heart patte The heart pattern is not wrote so you can understand it 4

I don't understand the commenters confusion. The slit is actually the button hole because this is adjustable. The heart ends with a slip stitch (SS) and you sew it on . Add the button on the end opposite the end with the slits. You don't connect this head band, it buttons. It's easy and turns out great and very quickly. Thanks for sharing. By making it adjustable I don't have to guess a time ya randy kids head sizzles.

What do we do now? Why is there a little slit created when you complete row 4? There must be some way to attach it???? Very cute but how do I finish it?

I could use more specific and complete directions for the heart.

Hello, this pattern has just been updated with complete instructions. Thanks! - Julia from FaveCrafts
