Materials:

  • Piece of fabric measuring 22x10 inches
  • Four ribbon strips, 10 inches each
  • Four beads

Instructions:

  1. Sew a sleeve into your fabric piece, right sides together long-ways, leaving one short end un-sewn.

  2. Turn the sleeve right side out and press, then sew the opening closed.  This gives you a sleeve measuring 21x5 inches.

  3. Add one ribbon strand to each corner (be sure to burn the edges so they don't unravel) and thread beads onto the end.

doily

this would be ok IF you had an open toilet roll, mine is hung on the inside of a cupboard. but I can see the advantages for other uses.

So much nicer than sitting the extra roll on the back or top of the toilet!

Wow, great idea
