Evergreen Mountain Ornament
Evergreen Mountain Ornament

"Hand painted evergreen tree. I used silver ornaments as a base. Cleaning softly the ornament I used acrylic paint for the trees. Using a flat brush I began to build the trees. Once the shapes were formed, varying the height and fullness of the trees, I let them dry. Once dry I went in with a black acrylic paint and thin brush to add some depth to the trees. When all the trees were dry, I took snow paint to cover the bottom of the ornament to look like a snowy mountain. Then I added snow paint to the limbs."

very pretty

Painting plain ornaments is such a great idea! I especially love the snow paint on the bottom - it gives a really unique effect.
