  • Glass canning jar with 3" (7.6cm) lid
  • 1yd (1m) ribbon
  • Yarn needle


Gauge: Rnds 1-3 = 3" (7.6cm)

Instructions:
Ch 3, sl st in first ch to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), 11 dc in
ring, sl st in third ch of beg ch 3 to join—12 dc.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in each dc around, sl st in third ch of beg ch 3 to join—24 dc.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in same dc, dc in next dc, *2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc; rep from * 10 more times, sl st in third ch of beg ch 3 to join—36 dc.
Rnd 4: Ch 1 (counts as sc), working in back lps only, sc around, sl st in beg ch 1n to join—36 sc.
Rnds 5-7: Ch 1, *sk next sc, 2 sc in next sc; rep from * around, sl st in first sc to
join.
Rnd 8 (Eyelet Rnd): Ch 3, *sk 2 sc, sc  in next sc, ch
2; rep from * around, sl st
in first ch of beg ch 3 to join.
Rnd 9: Sl st in first ch-2 sp, (sc, dc, tr, dc, sc) in every ch-2 sp around, sl st in first sc to join.
Fasten off.

Finishing:
Weave in ends.
Thread ribbon through Eyelet Rnd and tie in bow.
