Hanging Out with My Boo

Hang up this sparkling sign on a door or elsewhere this Halloween. Using acrylics, ribbon and tulle you can pull together this fabulous Halloween decor. Put it away safely so you can reuse it next year!

Materials:

DecoArt Products Required

• Craft Twinkles Writers
• DCTW13 - Orange
• DCTW15 - Purple
• DCTW16 - Lime Green

Americana Acrylics

• DAO13 - Pumpkin
• DAO34 - Lavender
• DA235 - Citron Green

Americana Brushes

• DBF2575-B - Flat 3/4"

Supplies

• Foam plate
• Lo-temp glue gun and glue sticks
• One yard 20-gauge black craft wire
• Coordinating 3/8" ribbons and 6" wide black tulle net, total of 35
• 6" lengths
• Coordinating bead assortment
• Unfinished 5" wood letters: MPI Wood Products, B L102; 2 Os L115

Steps:

1. Preparation: Remove all stickers or labels from surfaces.
    
2. Paint letter B Lavender and let dry.
    
3. Paint one O Citron Green and the other O Pumpkin. Let dry.
    
4. Use Purple Craft Twinkles Writer to dot Lavender B.
    
5. Use Lime Green Writer to paint spirals on Citron Green O.
    
6. Use Orange Writer to dots Pumpkin letter O; let all letters dry.
    
7. Refer to photo for placement and glue letter B over bottom left edge of Pumpkin O; glue Citron Green O over upper right edge of Pumpkin O.
    
8. Hook and secure wire through openings of BOO letters at each upper side, leaving 6" of ends free at each side.
    
9. Twist ends of wire, adding beads as desired and twisting ends to secure beads.
    
10. Tie lengths of ribbons around wire hanger.
