"The Baby Bat Costume is a onesie and hat set perfect for Halloween! This set is sized for 6 and 12 months with more sizes in the works. It is an intermediate level pattern due to the ribbing and shaping. It features snap tape closures at the crotch and shoulder to help get baby in and out. The wings and ears for the hat are crocheted separately and attached. The body of the onesie and hat are completely done in sc."

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet Gauge16 sts and 20 rows = 4” [10 cm] in sc with larger hook

Finished SizeOnesie: 6 (12) months, 17 (18)” chest; Hat: Baby (Toddler), 14 (16)” head circumference

Well, look at this awesome baby bat costume for Halloween! My son is long outgrown to wear something like this, but if this was around 15 years ago I would have made him one. The pattern directions are very easy to follow. Hey, does anyone have a suggestion as to the sewing on of the fabric strip for the snaps? Meaning- shortcuts!
