  • K crochet hook.

Stitch:
single crochet, double crochet

Finished Measurements:
42” long

Instructions:

  1. Chain 100.
     
  2. Row 1: Turn. Ch 1. Sc in each ch 1space across.
     
  3. Row 2: Turn. Ch 2. Work 2 dc in each sc across.
     
  4. Row 3: Turn. Ch 2. *Work 2 dc in next dc. Work 1 dc in next dc.* Repeat bet *’s across.
     
  5. Row 4: Turn. Ch 2. *Work 2 dc in each of next two dc’s. Work 1 dc in next dc.* Repeat bet *’s across.
     
  6. Row 5: Repeat Row 4. Break off.

This is so pretty and perfect for adding some texture to your outfits.

I love this scarf. I've made three of them as gifts, and they loved them. It dresses up a plain shirt or sweater.

I for some reason don't understand the directions. After you chain the 100 the next direction talks about chain 1 spaces. Is there a row before that? Do you single crochet across first?

This scarf is so easy and yet so beautiful. I made it in lightest pale green but the last (fringe) row I used white sparkle. It is just lovely and a joy to make. Thanks for a fantastic idea.
