This 5 sided blanket is simply amazing! I love the colors together. I am currently looking for a baby blanket for my sister who is due in October, but we dont know yet what she is having. Hopefully we will find out in just a few weeks! If we are not able to find out, this would be a good unisex option.

I may be asking a dumb question, but my blanket is not looking like the picture. When crocheting in the chains, is it every chain I should be crocheting in or every other. Meaning only in the areas it states dc, ch1, dc?

This is definitely a very cute baby blanket. It has six sides and works up fairly fast. I like using the same color and not using different color yarn. Perfect size for a baby. This is a fun crochet pattern and easy to do when watching TV. Have fun working on this one...

Is this pattern easy

Once I realized the afghan is six sided, it all worked out beautifully! I am making this with yellow, orange, and multi-colored yarn (tie-dye) which is absolutely gorgeous. I will post a photo when it is completed. Once you understand the repetitive nature of the pattern, it is very simple and easy to do while watching tv.

Bobble stitch in this pattern is actually called a popcorn stitch. Once I figured that out this pattern was much easier to understand. I'm a little bit of a beginner and I have done bobble stitches before, but I never had to drop a loop first. After a quick google search I figured out that this stitch is called a popcorn. It's a very cute blanket and I loved learning a new stitch. Thanks for posting this!

a very cute pattern, but if it is 5 sided it is a pentagon. Ahexagon is 6 sided.

Hexagon has 6 sides, pentagon has 5 sides. Could that be part of the problem? Here's a tip: sometimes the print tends to run together in a pattern so I use highlighters to help me find my way, especially where the pattern has repeated instructions. Sticky notes help a lot too, so I can tally the number of times I repeated or I can write shorthand notes to help me keep my place. Very cute blankie!

Instruction is little confusing....So If you have a video demo of this pattern please post, then it will be more useful.

I have not made this afghan but just by looking at the pattern i can see why they would think it wasnt complete, but if they were to look at the rounds it is telling you to repeat rounds 7 through 12 twice (giving you your 24 rounds) then repeat rounds 7 and 8 once to reach your 25th and 26th rounds. This patterns is complete. I do like to figure out patterns that are wrote wrong so if you have problem with a pattern please feel free to email me. yllophall@gmail.com

I made this Afghan and its true, the pattern was not complete but it was obvious to keep going round and round. The full pattern is printed above. My tip for making this blanket would be to swap double crotchet for treble. It grows really quickly this way.

This pattern is not complete. Eight rows does not even come close to making a blanket. Is the rest missing?
