You thought that granny squares are very simple and outdated but they are always around and used in a lot of crochet projects. This one is no exception. It's just granny squares but because of the colors used, it looks so classy and exciting.

I'm a big fan of this afghan! I always thought granny stripes were old fashioned, but this afghan looks so modern.

I love this! It kid of reminds me of those old, wonderful wool blankets that are expensive and very hard to find. Now I can get that look by just using scraps of yarn that I already have!
