There are so many amazing baby blanket patterns out there, I am having a hard time choosing just one! My sister is due in October, and I am just waiting to find out what she is having to start making all these amazing patterns! This one would be perfect for a little boy, and as the author here says if you change the colors it would be perfect for a little girl.

This will make a wonderful baby shower gift for a friend whose due in August. The pattern is written really well and the colours look beautiful. You can change the colours to suit a baby girl but I wouldn't mind the yellows and blues.
