Double Crochet and V's Baby Afghan

Materials:

  • 610 yds. Petal Pink or Light Blue Red Heart 4-ply yarn (C)
  • 295 yds. White Red Heart 4-ply yarn (W)
  • H crochet hook or size needed for guage

Gauge:
6 dcs = 2”
4 rows = 3 ¼”

Size:
36” x 36”

Stitch Guide:
Chain (ch), Single Crochet (sc), Double Crochet (dc)
Special Stitch – V St = dc, ch 1, dc

Row 1 – With pink or blue ch 120, dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 3 and turn.
(117 dc)
Row 2 - *Skip 1 dc, V St in next dc, skip 1 dc, dc in next dc, rep from * across ending V St, skip
1 dc, dc in last dc, ch 3 and turn. (29 V Sts)
Row 3 – Dc in each dc and ch st across, ch 3 and turn.
Row 4 – Rep Row 2 and fasten off.
Row 5 – Join white and rep Row 3.

Rep Rows 2 and 3 for 46 rows as follows: Color (C) White (W)
4C 2W 4C 2W 4C 2W 4C 2W 4C 2W 4C 2W 4C 2W 4C

Edging:
With white starting at bottom right edge, work 3 sc in corner ch, work along side edge, *ch 1,
(sc, ch 1, sc) in end of row, rep from *across, 3 sc in corner dc, work along top edge *ch 1, skip
2 st, (sc, ch 1, sc) in next st, rep from * across, 3 sc in last dc, continue pattern for opposite side
edge and bottom edge, join to beg sc and fasten off.

It is horrible attempting to locate what I need here. I am being led to sites I never ask for. If u do not have it, please just say so. I have wasted days searching for a double crochet shevron afghan....".thanks anyway. Some afghans are great but not what I asked for
