Upcycled Coffee Table

If shopping estate sales, always go to the garage or basement. You can get the best deals on supplies you'll need for refurnishing and upcycling.

Coffee Table

I garbage picked this table. It had a $15 garage sale sticker on it.  I covered it with batting and a remnant piece of fabric. I hammered short tack nails into the underside of the tabletop to secure the fabric around the batting. The fringe was first hot glued to hold its place. I followed up with a hand stitch to secure it. Then I added three velvet buttons to make the cushion firmer. I used three decorative tacks through the center of the velvet buttons. I bought the decorative tacks from the basement of an estate sale.

Total cost to rehab this coffee table was $22.
