At first glance one might think this book was projects for children, but once you dig into the book you’ll find it’s full of fun, cute, and practical craft projects for all ages. As a matter of fact, many projects would make great family crafting night choices. The focus is on keeping the craft projects within a budget of $5.00 and the book did so with flair and savvy. The projects are bright, eye catching, and again I go back to practical because over 50% of the projects have daily uses like coffee cups, tote bags, T-shirts.

Other projects include hats, bracelets, vests, brooches, caps, aprons, barrettes, wall art, pincushions, plant pokes, candleholders, note cards, trivets, baskets, and so much more. I loved that the book included gift and bazaar items since both are important to the crafter. The projects take basic supplies and the material lists are short. The photography allows you to see the projects up close and take in all the details. There is a true variety of techniques used, but all at the beginner or intermediate skill levels. This is a book after my own heart. Great projects. Great fun. And you just have to smile at the color and whimsy.

This would be a very good book for anyone that doesn't have enough money to make some gifts for their family on the holidays without spending a lot. Remember its the thought that counts not what you spend on someone and the best present you can get is something someone makes. I'm 35 and I would love to get something like this for my granddaughter.

Perfect - on a limited income and can always use a book like this

This book would work perfeclty for my family. My daughter is 18 months old and is really starting to get into coloring and painting. with a little help I think that she would love some of these ideas, plus they are inexspensive, so that works for mommy.

Just what I'm looking for!

Sounds like a really good book to craft from.
