  • Tangerine dye
  • Microwave
  • Water
  • Rubber band
  • Paper towel

How to Dip Dye a Tote

Instructions

Mix your water and dye together. Test the dye bath with paper towel. It you want a richer color, add more dye. Lighter color, add more water.

Put the rubber band where you want your bag to be dyed.

Dip your canvas bag into the dye bath. Hold it for about 2-3 minutes.

Place your canvas bag into the microwave for one minute.

Wash it in the sink with cold water until the water runs clear.

Throw it into the washing machine on a cold setting.
