A Sandy Vase

Embellish a vase by covering it in sand! This fun spring craft from The New Image Group will bring a bit of the beach to into your home while you wait for the weather to get warmer.

Materials:

• Craft Glue
• Plastic Cup
• Paintbrush
• Clean Bottle or Jar
• Assorted Sand

Instructions:

1. Create glue mixture by adding 1/4 cup of craft glue and 1 teaspoon water into a plastic cup. Mix with paintbrush.
    
2. Using the paintbrush, coat the outside of the jar/bottle with your glue mixture. Sprinkle sand over glued areas.
   TIP: Rotate the bottle as you pour to make sure sand is distributing evenly.
    
3.  Let dry.

Optional Steps: As you get more comfortable with the process, try new designs with multiple colors.
