Teabag Envelope

Materials:

  • Teabags
  • Strips of 3” x 7 1/2" of paper
  • Stickers and other small embellishments
  • Aleene’s Tacky glue
  • Fiskars Personal Trimmer
  • Pattern

Instructions:

  1. To create this cute little envelope for a teabag, cut a 3” x 7 1/2" strip of paper. Fold top down 1 1/2". Fold bottom up 3”. Trim top fold area as shown on the pattern. This is the flap and you are making it a little more decorative.

  2. Apply a very thin line of glue to the bottom portion of this envelop along the sides. Flip up and gently press the sides together to bond the glue. You have made the teabag envelope.

  3. Add some embellishments to the teabag tag, place inside envelope, add an embellishment to seal the envelope.

Looks easy for my granddaughter .

I would like to try this with fabric instead of paper. and sew the seams instead of glue them

So cute, and I have just recently discovered the very delicious Twinings tea variety. Inspires me Valentine's Tea and Chocolate, Christmas Tea and Cookies, Birthday Tea and Cake gift themes! Great, thanks.

Not so impressed as you didn't show the tea-bag or tag decorated..where would there be room on a tea bag tag??? Wouldn't it need to be sealed a bit better. My tea bags are stored in air-tight containers and even boxed tea is in some sort of airtight packaging.. Loved the spice rubs though.. Those Were Great Ideas.... All my men barbeque... That is great idea..

I DON'T GET IT? I DON'T SEE THE WHERE THE TEABAG IS?

Hi this tea bag hold is so great, you can use speailty tea bags and it will be a delight thank you marlene

this is such a cute idea! My thought is to sew the edges instead of glue. And being a lover of ribbon -- make a small bow to decorate the envelope with (either on the front with the name, or on the flap closure). thank you for sharing the envelope idea --- I love it
