  • 1/4 inch wide gold metallic ribbon
  • 4 - Rhinestone Snowflakes
  • 1 - Large Gold Bell
  • White Acrylic Paint
  • Laser Printer

Instructions:

  1. Using any software on your computer that allows you to manipulate and print images, scan and resize images to fit the 1 7/8” x 1 7/8” tile.

  2. Set up your printer per the instructions on the My Tile Image Art™ instructions.

  3. Follow printers’ instructions and print transfer. Allow transfer to set 10 to 15 minutes to dry.

  4. Clean the surface of each tile with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt and smudges.

  5. Trim each decal to size using scissors. Place the transfers, one at a time, into a bowl of water and wait approximately 30 seconds.

  6. Slightly moisten the front of the tile. Gently slide the Image Art™ transfer from the backing paper onto the front of the tile. Use your fingers to smooth the transfer as you slide away from the backing paper.

  7. Gently pat and smooth the Image Art™ transfer with a moist paper towel, eliminating air pockets and wrinkles.

  8. Layout completed tiles on a cookie sheet, transfer side up. Allow to dry 2 hours.

  9. To permanently set the transfer: preheat a conventional oven to 345°F. Place the cookie sheet on an oven rack. Bake for 15 minutes. Turn off oven, prop door slightly, and leave in the oven for 20 minutes.

  10. Use hot mitts to remove from oven.

  11. When completely cooled, wipe with water and dry with a paper towel.

  12. Paint the back of each tile with white paint and allow drying.

  13. Glue a jewelry bail to the top and bottom backside of each glass tile and allow the glue to dry following manufacturer’s instructions.

  14. Connect the four tiles to each other by tying a gold ribbon to the top and bottom of each tile. Tie a longer piece of ribbon at the top tile for hanging.

  15. For the finishing touch, tie a gold bell to the bottom bail on the bottom tile to hang the bell. Glue a rhinestone snowflake to the front of each tile.

What a novel way to incorporate the famous words in a Christmas design. I have so many friends that would love to get some of these from me this year. Do you have any other designs with different words to go along with them? I would love to make a set for each friend.
