This pretty gold bookmark from Rings & Things features a glass Santa bead, gold presents and more Christmas accents. This beaded Christmas bookmark would be a great way to mark your place in Christmas story.


Santa and Presents Beaded Bookmark


Materials:

  • 1 55-401-4 Round wire bookmark, gold plate
  • 1 43-391-4 5-strand chain tassel, gold plate
  • 1 28-333-61 Lampwork glass Santa bead, red/white/black (limited stock)
  • 1 23-224-021 4mm round glass bead, black
  • 2 44-687-0 15mm gift charms, raw brass
  • 1 44-648-0 14x11mm wreath charm, raw brass
  • 1 44-647-0 15x12mm holly charm, raw brass
  • 4 23-164-508 Glass "E" beads, aquamarine/silver-lined
  • 5 37-422-2 2" standard head pins, yellow
  • 8 37-136-2 5mm round jump rings, yellow
  • flat-nose pliers
  • round-nose pliers

Instructions:

  1. Make wrapped-loop dangles using E beads and head pins. See this technique.
     
  2. Using jump rings, attach charms, bead dangles and lampwork Santa to tassel as shown in picture.
     
  3. Attach tassel to bookmark with a jump ring.

    NOTE: Don't open the loop on the chain tassel — it will crack the plating.

    HINT: Use a small bead to keep the lampworked bead from falling off the end of the head pin.
