Paper Cast Love Card

Show someone special how much they mean to you with this eco-friendly card project from Arnold Grummer's Paper Making Kits and Supplies made from recycled paper!

Supplies:

• Arnold Grummer's Angel Wings: Pink
• Arnold Grummer's Gold Dust
• Arnold Grummer's Cotton Linter Casting Squares: 2 oz package
• Arnold Grummer's Heart & Flowers Ceramic Casting Mold
• Arnold Grummer's Papermill Complete Kit
• Dark fuchsia cardstock
• Gold leafing pen
• Blank folded card
• Deckle edge scissors
• Decorator chalks
• Glue

Steps:

1. Blend white photocopy paper or white junk mail envelopes, adding 1 to 2 pink petals and a dash of gold dust to make handmade paper.
    
2. Trim cardstock to 4 1/2" x 6" and glue to front of blank folded card.
    
3. Trim handmade paper to approx. 1/4" smaller on all sides and layer onto cardstock with glue.
    
4. Follow directions on any cotton linter package to create the heart paper cast.
    
5. Shade heart cast with dark pink chalk and highlight raised areas of design and border with gold leafing pen. Add "love" with pen on heart.
    
6. Glue embellished heart square to center of dark fuchsia cardstock cut to 2 1/8" square.
    
7. Glue all to center of card to complete project as shown.
