How to Make Angel DIY Glitter Ornaments

Follw the instructions below to learn how to make Christmas ornaments that sparkle and shine with angelic charm.

Instructions

  1. Cover your angel completely in off-white paint. Set aside and allow to dry.

  2. Once form is completely dry, cover the angel form on one side in a thick coat of mod podge.

  3. Sprinkle glitter onto angel, shake off excess glitter.

  4. Allow to dry and repeat the process, adding another layer of mod podge, and add more glitter.

  5. Allow to dry again and seal with another, lighter coat of mod podge to seal in glitter.

  6. Repeat steps 2-5 on the opposite side of the angel and allow to dry.

This is a very cute and easy project. After reading thru the directions it doesn't appear to be difficult to follow. Plus it's not very expensive to make. I think my grand daughter could make it with me. I love those kinds of projects. Thank you for offering it so we can make more memories.

Love the video but many pauses could be my computer though. I will try to find the angels or other paper mache (sp) items to do this with grandkids. We already did epsom salt votive cups. So much fun. Now I can't submit this without a rating but I see no place to make a rating.
