This is loom knit, but it should be easy to adapt to hand knitting for those of us who do not loom knit. I did a test swatch using Light and Lofty and 8 mm needles and was able to achieve the correct gauge. This cape looks so cozy. Perfect for sitting by the fire on a cool evening, or settling down with a good book and a cup of cocoa.

As I do not own a knitting board, would you please let me know what needle size this would require. Thank you.

I do not loom knit either. I tried a test swatch and using Light and lofty with my 8 mm needles, I was able to get the right gauge. I knit rather tight, but hopefully that helps. Good luck.

I found a very easy hat pattern to knit for my daughter I can easyly knit one in about 2 hrs. Go to headhuggers.com
