Natural Elements Necklace

This wooden beaded necklace from Katie Hacker makes a great gift for a guy or a girl.

Materials:

  • 18" length of stringing wire
  • Ninety 4-5mm coconut heishi
  • Sixteen 5mm wooden cube beads
  • Eight 6mm braided silver spacers
  • Sixteen 2.2mm silver spring spacers
  • Two silver 2mm crimp tubes
  • Silver barrel clasp
  • Crimp Tool
  • Nipper Tool

Steps:

  1. String a crimp tube 1/2" from one end of the stringing wire. Loop the wire end through half of the clasp and place the end back inside the crimp tube. Use crimping pliers to crimp it.
     
  2. String ten coconut heishi, a spring spacer, a cube bead, a braided spacer, a cube bead and a spring spacer. Repeat this pattern until all of the beads are used.
     
  3. String a crimp tube onto the necklace. Loop the wire end through half of the clasp and place the end back inside the crimp tube. Use crimping pliers to crimp it.
