Grape Cluster Pendant
Grape Cluster Pendant

"This cluster of grapes started out as clear glass beads. Then, these beads were etched with etchall dip 'n etch for 15 minutes. This gave the beads a soft opaque surface with a tooth that makes them easy to paint. I painted them with some Colorique ink in Grape Vine for the perfect grape color. I created bead dangles using the headpins. I attached the headpins to a chain piece to create the grape cluster. A couple of leaves were attached at the top of the cluster with jump rings, and the pendant was strung on a ribbon to wear."

What a great idea. It is really hard to determine the finished size of this project by looking at the pictures provided but it does make a nice pendant.

Years ago, I had a pair of Avon earrings that were very similar to these. It is amazing what you can do with a few beads and a little time. The purple color really makes them look like grapes but these would be just as nice in clear like a classy piece of jewelry too. Matching ear rings would be cool too.

What a pretty project. I love purple in all its shades. That's what caught my eye with this one. And after reading thru the instructions I saw how easy it was too make. That sealed the deal for me. It's easy, pretty and inexpensive to make. Thank you for sharing this .
