Send you affections to those you love with this cute matching note card and envelope set made from handmade paper.

Supplies:

  • Arnold Grummer's Large Template: Note Card and Envelope
  • Arnold Grummer's Papermill PRO Envelope and Stationery Kit
  • Snippets from fibers for knitting or crafts
  • Green paper or tissue paper to recycle
  • Ivory cardstock: one 8 1/2" x 11" sheet
  • Rubber stamps: I Love You, Butterfly, Small text image, Postmark, Thank You
  • Ink Pads: Green, purple, black
  • Iridescent glitter: green
  • Adhesive back foam: pad and squares
  • Trimmer, ruler, gluestick

Steps:

  1. Recycle green paper scraps or green tissue paper with snips of fibers and gold dust for the handmade paper in this project.

  2. Slip Arnold Grummer's 'Note Card & Envy' template into the Papermill PRO handmold, or any large Arnold Grummer's pour or dip handmold.

  3. Follow the usual directions for making paper. The template will make paper in the shapes of the green panel card, envelope and heart in this project.

  4. After the paper is dry, fold and stamp the envelope.

  5. Use a small text stamp and brown ink on the green panel card. Use brown ink pad on the edges of the panel card. Trim a window in the panel card: 1 3/8" x 2".

  6. Spatter green and purple ink on ivory cardstock. Trim two pieces: 4 3/4" x 7" folded in half to make a card, and 3 1/8" x 4 3/8".

  7. Cut a 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" window in the smaller piece of cardstock. Stamp images with purple inks. Highlight butterfly and back of window with green gliter.

  8. Mount panel card and stamped layers onto folded card using adhesive foam pad to raise the panel.

  9. To finish, mount heart in window using adhesive foam square.
