Butterfly Shaped Greeting Card

Materials

  • Spellbinders Die Templates S4-114 Standard Circle Large, S4-171 Shapeabilities Nested Set: Butterfly
  • Prism White, Sunflower Dark, Tawny Light Cardstocks
  • Fancy Pants Pure paper
  • Kokuyo Dot’N Roller
  • Twine
  • circle stamp
  • dimensional adhesive squares
  • adhesive rhinestones

Steps:

  1. Fold cardstock in half and position Large Butterfly (S4-171) so that the tips of the wings are just above the fold. Then die cut it. This is the card base.
     
  2. Cut/emboss the butterfly again from floral paper.
     
  3. Attach it to the card front.
     
  4. Tie a little fiber around the card front, where the wings meet.
     
  5. Stamp circle sentiment on sunflower cardstock and cut with Circle Nestability.
     
  6. Stamp smaller circle sentiment on the tan cardstock and cut with a smaller Circle Nestability.
     
  7. Stack circles together with foam dots and mount in the center of the card over the twine.

Hi Nancyfromaus, You could also always highlight the text and picture, right-click to copy it, paste it into a Word document and print from there. That way you should be able to manipulate the text yourself so that you can always print on one page. Thank you! -Editors of FaveCrafts

Dear Favecrafts, These cards could be made more printer-friendly by typing instructions closer together. Or by laying out your picture beside some of the text. They usually take more than one side of paper. Just a suggestion - as I try to conserve my paper stash. Thanks Nancyfromaus
