Africa Themed Card Set

 An African set of unique Posh stamps creates a collection of beautiful stamped cards from Posh Impressions.The patterned layers in this first example create a great palate of colors.

 

Africa Theme Stamp Card

Materials:

  • African set-Posh Impressions
  • Cream cardstock
  • Olive cardstock
  • Rust cardstock
  • Olive dye ink
  • Rust dye ink
  • Rust marker
  • Diamond border punch
  • Southwest corner punch
  • Small hole punch
  • Square brad
  • Threads
  • Mounting tape

Instructions:

  1. Ink African head with Olive ink. Lay flat and color areas with Rust marker. Have a piece of scratch paper at your side to clean off marker as you color each area as shown. Stamp onto Cream cardstock and cut out leaving a small Cream border. Punch hole for Brad and insert.
     
  2. Punch Diamonds border at top and bottom middles of a Cream panel.
     
  3. Tape pieces of Rust cardstock to the back of panel over border punch outs. Wrap threads around middle of panel and secure to back.
     
  4. Stamp Frame onto Cream cardstock using Rust ink. Cut out frame and then trim to size with paper cutter. Adhere to an Olive panel that has been corner notched.
     
  5. Mount previous piece to Frame.
     
  6. Stamp Flower along the sides of a Cream card. Use third generation Olive ink; (stamp off twice before stamping onto card) and stamp around the edges again. Layer to a Rust card that has been corner notched. Layer both pieces to a folded Cream card.
     
  7. Layer previous pieces to the base card.

Materials:

  • Cream cardstock
  • Gold cardstock
  • Rust cardstock
  • Olive cardstock
  • Green cardstock
  • Mustard dye ink
  • Green dye ink
  • Olive dye ink
  • Southwest corner punch
  • Small hole punch
  • Corner punch
  • Corrugator
  • Cording
  • Brads
  • Mounting tape

Instructions:

  1. Stamp Tunic, Pillow and Vase in colors shown. Cut out leaving a small Cream border. Punch holes for Brads and insert. Corrugate a Gold panel. String cord around corrugated ridges taping ends to back. Mount three images to corrugated panel.
     
  2. Trim a larger Rust panel. Punch out two Rust corners. Tape opposite way to back of Rust panel on two opposite sides.
     
  3. Stamp Flower around the edges of a Cream card using Green ink. Use third generation ink for some of the stampings; stamp off twice before stamping onto card. Notch corners. Layer to a larger Olive card and then a slightly larger Green card. Layer all to a folded Cream Bazzill card. Layer Rust panel and then mount Gold panel.

  • Gold cardstock
  • Green cardstock
  • Blending Blox Shades of Gray dye ink
  • Mustard dye ink
  • Green dye ink
  • Gray dye ink
  • Southwest corner punch
  • Small hole punch
  • Brads
  • Corrugator
  • Fun Fibers
  • Mounting tape

Instructions:

  1. On Cream cardstock stamp Ram using Shades of Gray Blending Blox. Stamp Rug twice using Mustard ink. Cut out three images leaving a small Cream border with Ram. Leave off tassels on Rugs. Corrugate two rugs. Punch holes for Brads on rugs and insert. Tape two Rugs together at back side. Mount Ram to Rugs as shown.
     
  2. Tape Fun Fibers to top and bottom of a Gray panel. Layer to a slightly larger Gold panel and then a larger Green panel.
    Stamp Flower around the edges of a Cream card using Mustard, Gray and Green inks. Notch corners. Layer to a slightly larger Gray card and then a larger Green card. Layer all to a folded Light Green Bazzill card. Layer panels to card then mount Ram piece to card.
