Plus, decoupage helps cover any cracks or scratches.

Materials:

  • Old jar or vase
  • Colored tissue paper (blue & red)
  • Pen/pencil
  • Scissors
  • Mod Podge
  • Foam Brush

Instructions:

  1. Cut the base color tissue paper into two-inch strips.

  2. Adhere them to your jar with the Mod Podge and a foam brush. Cover the entire thing and allow the pieces of tissue paper to overlap some.

  3. Cut out your hearts out of the red tissue paper, the easiest way to do this is to fold a piece of tissue paper in half and outline one side of the heart along the fold line, and cut to reveal a whole heart. You will want to vary the sizes of  the hearts.

  4. Lastly randomly adhere them all over the vase.
