What an awesome gift giving opportunity with this hand painted crate, along with tucking in those plates, napkins and cutlery. A perfect new neighbor gift or housewarming gift that I would enjoy making myself, very much! There's plenty of room for artistic license here, as well. Maybe paint some of the stars gold! You could also stipple an additional layer over top of the red, white and blue with a silver or a gold to add more texture.

Isn't this a pretty, festive and patriotic project? This little crate will be a hit at any 4th of July celebration! I love the use of the glitter red paint, and you could even embellish it more with glow in the dark paint for the white stars! Add a glow stick tied to some rope and attach to the ends for a pretty and showy handle! Love it!
