Crochet Wreath Earrings

Looking for a different take on the classic crochet Christmas wreath?  Try making your own Crochet Wreath Earrings to wear for the holidays.  These cute little wreaths are easy-to-make and will add an instant touch of festivity to any outfit you pair them with.

 

Materials:

  • Red Heart Luster Sheen, ( #2 fine sport) – 4 oz./113g – Sage
  • South Maid (#10 100% cotton Thread/3ply) – Red
  • Crochet Hooks: 1 – size USA E/4/3.5mm, 1 – size USA B/1/2.25mm
  • 2 - ½” plastic rings (dark color)
  • 8 to 10 silver or gold seed beads (large hole)
  • Yarn Needle
  • Beading Needle
  • 2 – Silver or gold ear wires

Notes: Repeat pattern 2 times.

 

Instructions:

Wreath: make 2
With green and size E hook make a slip stitch, sc 18 times around a ring, join with slst to first sc, fasten off, weave in tail.

Bow: Make 2
With red an size B hook ch 7 (Bow side 1) hdc in second and third ch from the hook, ch 3, hdc in second and third ch from hook, join with a slst to last stitch of bow side 1, ch 4, fasten off , tighten and trim tail ends close.

Finish: Sew 4 or 5 silver beads evenly spaced around wreath, sew red bow to top of wreath near first sc, insert ear wire into first sc of wreath. Check that all ends are trimmed and sewn in.

If you take plastic rings(plastic ring left on milk jug/plastic bottle after you open them) off of milk jugs and other plastic bottles before you recycle them you will have plastic rings for FREE!!

Where did you get the loops to make to hang on earring hooks?

Michael's craft store or Jo-ann fabrics.

These earrings are just too cute. So far I really love all the projects. Thanks
