Decoupage Paint Cans
"You can create some bright, fun, and colorful free storage containers by upcycling old paint cans. Spray paint the inside of the cans, and then cover the outside of the cans with paint chips. The paint chips can be picked up for free from your local home improvement store. I use the upcycled paint cans for my craft storage, and each paint can serves as a special color code for my crafts. Eventually, I plan to have a whole rainbow of storage cans."

I have done all sorts of things to recycle coffee tins and other tins never thought of paint tins though. Love the idea - because it gives a larger storage tin and because it means one less tin ends up on the tip

I absolutely adore this idea! I'm always hesitant to take more then 4 color cards from home Depot . I feel like the paint people are glaring at me behind my back haha! I will definitely face my fears to attempt this ! We just finished a painting home improvement project and I wasnt sure what to do with my left over cans. Thank you for sharing!
