Add style and charm to your special event with this delightful Pretty in Pink Purse.  It's sure to be a crowd-pleaser at any bridal shower, baby shower, or afternoon tea.

Pretty in Pink Purse

Materials:

  • STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam:
    • Block, 8" x 4" x 2"
  • 8 Pink silk gerbera daisies
  • Pink beaded garland with leaves
  • 1 12" x 12" sheet decorative paper
  • Floral shears
  • Floral pins
  • Paper trimmer or scissors
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Stick-flat paste or liquid paper glue
  • Low-temp glue gun and glue sticks

Steps:

  1. Trace sides and bottom of foam block onto back of paisley paper; cut out. Use paste or liquid glue to adhere paper to foam; let dry.
     
  2. Cut a 24" length from garland and bend into handle shape; use floral pins to secure handle ends to narrow ends of block near top edge. Dot ends with hot glue for added strength; adjust leaves to cover pins and exposed glue.
     
  3. Trim daisy stems to 2" long. Glue and insert stems into top of foam block.
