  • Size F crochet hook

Finished size: Doily measures 8 1/2 inches (22 cm) across.

Instructions:

Ch 6, join to form ring,
Row 1: Ch 3, 15 dc in ring, join

Row 2: Ch 3, 2 more dc in same stitch, *skip next dc, 3 dc in the next dc, ch 2* repeat around, join at top of chain 3. 8 3 dc cluster.

Row 3: Ch 3, dc in the same stitch, dc in next dc, 2 dc in the next dc, ch 2, *2 dc in the next dc, dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the next dc, ch 2* repeat around, join at top of chain 3.

Row 4: Ch 3, dc in the same stitch, dc in next 2 dc, 3 dc in the next dc, ch 2, *2 dc in the next dc, dc in the next 3 dc, 2 dc in the next dc, ch 2* repeat around, join at top of chain 3.

Row 5: ss to next dc, ch 3, dc in the next 4, ch 5, sc in ch 2 space, chain 5, * skip next dc, dc in the next 5 dc, ch 5, sc in then ch 2 space, ch 5* repeat around, join at top of chain 3

Row 6: ss to next dc, ch 3, dc in the next 2, [ch 5, sc in the next ch 5 space] 2 times, ch 5, *skip next dc, dc in the next 3 dc, [ ch 5, sc in the next ch 5 space] 2 times, ch 5* repeat around, join at top of chain 3.

Row 7: ch 2, dc 2 tog over next 2 dc, [ch 5, sc in then next ch 5 space] 3 times, ch 5, * dc 3 tog over next 3 dc. [ch 5, sc in the next ch 5 space] 3 times, ch 5* repeat around, join at top of 2dc cluster

Row 8: *[ch 5, sc in then next ch 5 space]4 times, ch 5, sc on top of 3 dc cluster* repeat 6 times, end with [ch 5, sc in then next ch 5 space]4 times,ch 5, join at the base of the first ch 5 space.
