In the instructions for "Joining 3 motifs: Work from ** to **, as given for Motif I." There are two *, one at the beginning (*Ch 5) and one at the beginning of the next step (*Ch 2). Towards the end of the instructions it says to "Rep from * ".... repeat from WHICH * ???

The motifs do I make and join them together or make them and join them later having trouble confused patterns always get me Ty

I love this shawl and will try it however, it does not say how many motifs are needed for a complete shawl.

The diagram shows how many you need.
