Crochet Chain Links Pillow

"I have been trying to find new types of projects to crochet because we do not need any more blankets or baby booties in our house. I always love to persue the craft stores and see the projects that are already done as well as grab some of the free patterns. While there, I found this super cute crochet cable knit pillow and I loved it right away. I used some mega bulky grey and white yarn at my local craft store and got to work! The pattern is really simple once you know how it goes together. It is basically just single crochets and chain stitches. With the bulky yarns it works up really fast. The chain stitches make a ladder type patterm which you twist into the cable stitches."

I love the warm and soft look of this pillow and the stitching pattern is so lovely and bulky. The instructions to make it look so easy. This is definitely a pillow I would love to crochet. Thanks for sharing!

. Now this is something I would expect to see in a Home Furnishings Store with a hefty price tag attached. My first thought was that it was probably a horribly complicated pattern but, in fact, its really simple. The cable effect is achieved after the piece is completed and is just a matter of drawing the ladder-like stitches up through the stitch in the previous row.
