This Red Striped Poncho is so nice looking. After reading the written pattern I think is is a easy pattern. It doesn't say what size the yarn is but it uses a L hook so I'm thinking it's a bulky yarn. ?? This should come out nicely using single crochet with double crochet stitches. No to find the yarn.. Thank you for sharing this free crochet poncho pattern.

Thank you so much for letting us know! I've updated the materials list to show Caron Cozi is a super bulky weight yarn. It has been discontinued, so do feel free to substitute it for a similar yarn! I hope that helps!

I wanted to make this for my 8 year old daughter. Should I just do half the size?

This was soooo simple. The hardest part was sewing it together. I have already used different colors and combinations. Wow - So much fun.
