Blue Fuzzy Ear Warmer

Materials:

  • 320-170 Fun Fur Yarn: Peacock
  • Lion Brand Crochet Hook - Size K-10.5 (6.5 mm)

Gauge:

12 stitches + 14 rows = 4" (10 cm) in single crochet.

BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Instructions:

Chain 11 sts. Single crochet into 2nd chain from hook and each chain across; ch 1, turn – 10 single crochets. Continue in single crochet until piece measures 21 inches or desired length. Slip stitch ends together, fluffing fur out of seam.

The secret is to use a big hook (bigger than what you'd think) and crochet very loose. OR you could knit it with needles. Much easier!

Good luck trying to do single crochets with this furry yarn. It is a nightmare to work with.

Hi there - Thanks for the insight. We understand that this can be frustrating but we hope the finished product is worth it!
