Is there any way I can make this with weight 3 or 4 yarn?

Absolutely! I would suggest using a small hook, perhaps size d or e, and in a way design the pattern as you go by measuring it against the chapstick tube. I hope that helps!

The crochet Lip Balm Holder is a real creative idea. We are always losing in our purses and this is the answer for finding the lip balm fast. The pattern sounds rather easy. The instructions are detailed so there should be no problems work this pattern up. It looks to be quick and simple. Good quick gift and add the balm.

I haven't tried to make this yet, but would like to for my granddaughter. However, no matter how many times I read it, I cannot see where I would be forming the button loop. Can you clarify? Is it just a bunch of loops in one of the stitches of the final cap row?

Hi there, I have contacted the designer and will let you know ASAP. Thanks! - Julia from FaveCrafts

what does mnr mean?

Hi there, MNR means Mark New Row/Round. Thanks! - Julia from FaveCrafts
