Sprinkles Painted Cupcake Apron

Materials:

  • White Apron
  • Pen/Pencil
  • Large Square Paintbrush
  • Contact Paper
  • Scissors
  • Cupcake Stencil
  • Foil
  • Small Paintbrush
  • Tulip® Soft Fabric Paint™
    • BI15784 Glacier White
    • BI15786 Sunshine Yellow
    • BI15788 Petal Pink
    • BI15789 Azalea
    • BI15790 Crimson Red
    • BI15794 Cool Blue
    • BI15797 Lime
    • BI15825 Royal Blue

Instructions:

  1. Trace the cupcake stencil onto contact paper. Cut out, then peel and stick the stencil onto the apron.

  2. Squeeze the Petal Pink and Cool Blue Soft Fabric Paints™ onto foil. With a large paintbrush, paint the upper half of the apron (cupcake icing) Petal Pink and the lower half (cupcake wrapper) Cool Blue. Let dry.

  3. Squeeze Glacier White paint onto foil. Using small paintbrush, paint Glacier White lines extending upward from the bottom of the apron. Refer to photo.

  4. Squeeze a little of each of the remaining paint colors out onto foil, except for Crimson Red. Using the small paintbrush, make randomly placed lines in the upper half of the apron (cupcake icing) using these colors. They will represent sprinkles on top of the cupcake.

  5. Squeeze a little bit of Crimson Red Soft Fabric Paint™ onto foil. Using the small paintbrush, make a red circle on the top middle of the apron. This is the cherry on top!
