Young people need some encouragement when it comes to creativity and this is one of those fashion crafts for teens that fits the bill. Save your bottles, dip into your stash of fabric and learn how to make a Water Bottle and Braided Fabric Belt from Heidi Borchers.

Use templates to cut the correct sizes from your water bottle. The plastic will serve as the buckle for your belt. Use Peel and Stick Sheets to cover the plastic with fabric. Create your own no-sew fabric flowers and use the Peel and Stick tape to adhere it to the buckle. Cut the strips of the t-shirt so they are the desired length of your belt. Begin braiding the strips and, once you reach the end, add a dab of Aleene's Tacky Glue. Use contrasting colors to make the belt stand out. This is a creative and fun project for a stylish young crafter.
